[Billy's response is somewhat vague, his gaze fixated on the pages in front of him, the very picture of comfort and contentment. It's a lazy afternoon, the weather is beautiful, he's cuddling with his boyfriend, and Batman is punching people in the face. What could be more perfect than this?

...Right, he should probably respond to Teddy.]

...Uh, yeah, I think so. You can usually tell when it wears off on a bunch of people at once.

Mm, good. I didn't think they'd be that annoying.

[Teddy settles his head against Billy's shoulder again. Not only is Batman punching people in the face, but Nightwing's ass is looking as fine as ever, and that's plenty of reason to be distracted.

It's after another moment that he talks again.]

So we're not going to have anyone interrupting us anymore, huh...

[There is a pause in which Billy does nothing and says nothing in response to that, seemingly fixated on the pages in front of him. That is a mighty fine ass, after all.

But.

A slow smile crosses his lips, and he turns the page of the comic and shifts a little against Teddy's body, his movement very intentional.]

What, are you getting bored of Batman already?

[For a moment, Teddy doesn't say anything either, even as he takes in a slow breath thanks to that movement of Billy's. Gotta read the page he just turned, after all, even if there's nothing much going on in it.

But about at the middle of the page, his fingers slide down, brushing over Billy's hip and caressing his inner thigh.]

Batman's kind of a jerk anyway. Nightwing's always been my favorite, and he leaves on this page.

[Well. Who is he to argue with that? Billy sets free a faint chuckle, accented by a shiver as his muscles tense beneath Teddy's fingers. He tilts the comic, slowly starting to close it. He's really going to want his hands free at this rate.]

Mm... and my favourite isn't even in this one. The library needs better selection.

[The foreplay of fanboys, ladies and gents.]

Why do they always make the sidekicks cooler than the heroes?

[He lets his thumb circle against Billy's thigh while Teddy presses a few light kisses to his shoulder, towards his neck. The palm of his other hand rests against his chest once he reaches it, and it's there that he lets up on his kisses enough to nuzzle his jawline.]

I'll let you know if I find one with Red Robin later. Or just Tim in general.

Mm... cooler? I'm gonna tell Cap you said that...

[Bucky's definitely cool, but better than Captain America? Questionable.

Billy finally relents with his teasing, though, closing the comic and setting it on the bedside table so he can give his boyfriend the attention he's earning with all of those pleasant touches. He tilts his head to give Teddy full access to his neck, hands sliding behind himself to press up against the blond's stomach, stroking the tips of his fingernails just under the shirt.]

The DC ones, B. And if you tell him, I'm keeping Tim all to myself.

[Teddy smiles against his neck before he scrapes his teeth against the skin - this is one of his favorite spots to play with on Billy's body. Speaking of body, Teddy's straightens up a little when Billy touches his stomach and sends a pleasant little feeling across his muscles. He'll retaliate by sliding his hand across Billy's chest and down his waist, where he'll slip his hand just under the shirt.

Not even a minute into it and he already wants that shirt off.]

If you try to separate me from Tim Drake, Mr. Altman, I'm keeping my clothes on.

[Because he could totally pull that off for long, sharing an apartment with Teddy while no prying eyes are watching. And speaking of clothes, he's starting to lift the edge of Teddy's shirt, trying to access more skin. Teddy's not the only one looking for more contact.]

[He pause at first, debating between arguing that fact or just letting it go. As he thinks, Teddy slides both hands under Billy's shirt, smearing up to his chest, and he teases his neck for a little longer before he moves back to answer.]

For the sake of actually keeping this moving along, I'll take back my threat. For now.

Hah... okay, I give. We'll leave comics out of this.

[This is actually really awkward and really difficult to do backwards, though, so Billy wiggles a little to half-escape Teddy's grasp, turning in his arms and cozying back up between his legs, pressed up against his chest, and gets his hands back under Teddy's shirt, dragging it upwards. He wants skin. Like, now.]

This should be us time, anyway, not - ha - hey, easy, tiger.

[Billy sure is getting that shirt off fast, not that he's complaining. Well, he is, but only to tease. To show that Teddy really doesn't mind, he grins and lifts his arms so that Billy can take that shirt off. Boy your shirt is coming off right after his does.]

Like you're not enjoying it.

[Yeah, good luck wrestling with Billy's shirt, because as soon as Teddy's is off and discarded, he leans forward, hands on his chest, kissing a long trail over his collarbone and up his neck.]

Never said I wasn't.

[Fine, fine, he'll tip his head back and to the side with a smile, though he'll still slide his hands under Billy's shirt and start to move them upward, fingers teasing at his sides. It's not enough to hinder Billy's movements, but it at least tells how much Teddy wants some of that skin to himself.]

[Billy takes a few moments to tease and pamper Teddy's body a little with his hands and his mouth, very much aware of the sliding material of his shirt thanks to Teddy's ministrations. Finally he relents, pulling back enough to grab the bottom of his shirt and help to drag it over his head, letting go immediately and grinning at his boyfriend, his hair disheveled, eyes shameless.]

So you really think we can do this without anyone interrupting us?

[Teddy grins right back, shameless and a little nervous and giddy at the same time. Maybe this time they can finally do it. Maybe they can take it a step further. It's nerve-wracking, but so exciting at the same time.]

I don't think anyone's going to come walking into the apartment again or anything, but... [Maybe they should take extra precautions? Lock the door, or...]

[The excitement is definitely contagious, and as the hope mixes with his already-rising desire, Billy leans in to give Teddy a long, heady kiss, pulling away just before he runs out of air and then, maneuvering his legs to straddle Teddy's, his hands lifting, fingers spread, to hover between them as if reaching for something.]

...But let's not take any chances.

[Not today, not now. Straightening his back, Billy reaches within himself for the magic, a gentle blue glow surrounding his body, swirling like a haze around the both of them. It spreads outwards as his eyes begin to glow, and Teddy can probably hear that familiar chanting of "IwantIwantIwantIwant" that Billy is muttering under his breath, though the rest of the spell varies, affecting several different objects in the room as the blue tendrils of light touches them.

First, the lock on the door clicks into place. Then a light follows the path of the door frame with a pale yellow arc of electricity. A light flashes at the window, and the pane of glass darkens, as if tinted. Lastly, the curtains draw into place.

There is some serious enchanting going on here, which should send Teddy a very clear message as to how much he wants this.]

[Teddy wraps his arms around Billy's waist, keeping his hold light so that he doesn't ruin his concentration, and just watches everything that happens to the room. Locking the door, practically gluing it to the frame, darkening and pulling the curtains over the window?

Not only that, but Billy always looks... for lack of a better word, beautiful like that. He can practically feel the magic coming from his skin, a gentle, yet electrifying sensation against his own.

If he wasn't aroused before, he certainly is now.

Once the glow fades, Teddy grins again, his hold around Billy's waist growing a little stronger to pull him closer, bringing their hips as well as their foreheads together.]

[When he's finished, and the magic fades quietly away, Billy releases a gasp of air he hadn't realized he'd been holding after the last chant had ended, and it comes out like a muffled laugh. As Teddy pulls him closer he lets his hands rest on the blond's shoulders, bracing himself, unable to keep from trembling a little. They'd been tiny spells, barely a dent in the magic he was capable of, but to cast several in a row like that without pause, just letting the magic do its thing...

It's exhilarating, like a high he's not sure he's coming down from just yet. His fingers are still tingling, and for a few moments his eyes still carry a touch of blue. As he inhales, his breath catches a little, but from the brightness in his eyes and the smile on his lips it's easy to tell that he's not tired. If anything, he seems energized.]

Ha... I've never done that before.

[Teddy can tell, and in a way, it energizes him as well. It's exhilarating just to watch him, to practically be in the middle of all that magic, to see tendrils of it left over. It's intense, it's a little terrifying, and Teddy knows he's completely safe. It's like taking a shot of adrenaline as a result, all just from watching his boyfriend.

God, he loves him.]

Don't get too far ahead of me now. [He brushes their noses briefly before he tilts his head just slightly, enough to engage in a deep, hungry kiss, his grip tightening further to grind their hips together and let out a muffled noise into the kiss.

Only a couple minutes into it and it's already magic, in more ways than one. Teddy just hopes they can make it last, make their first time - first time - perfect.]

[Billy returns the kiss without an ounce of hesitation, groaning eagerly into Teddy's mouth as he tries to press their bodies even closer together; it's like he can feel every inch of contact, even through the pants they're still wearing. It's never felt this intense before, after all the attempts they'd had in the past, even the times they'd gotten further than this.

It's different. This time is different. This time is special, and he wants to experience everything with Teddy. It'll be amazing, no matter what happens next.]

[Teddy feels the same way; this time is different from the others. Even when they didn't know there was an experiment going on, it wasn't quite like this. This was special, and not just from all the magic Billy had done. Something about this moment, this day and this time, it just... it felt like this was going to be it.

And it was going to be it, except they're pressing too close together. Teddy doesn't mind at all, good lord of course not, but he can't exactly undo Billy's pants like this.

So instead of doing that, Teddy slides his hands down Billy's back and under his pants, where they press against dat ass as if to keep him there against his hips. He pulls back from the kiss briefly, if only to catch his breath, and give Billy a grin.]

Billy echoes the comment quietly, his breath quickened, hands curling slightly against Teddy's chest. He keeps feeling this urge to rush it, to push forward and tear their clothes off and get it done before something goes wrong again. But before he can even consider caving into that impulse, he squashes it, reassured just by the look in Teddy's eyes. It'll be fine. It'll be perfect.

...Do we know what we're doing?

[The basics are kind of a given, and he'd done his fair share of Google research back home, sure, but there's no substitute for experience, either.]

[Teddy just stares for a moment. The look on Billy's face, the position they're in, the question he asked... And he realizes that Billy has a very good point. As much as Teddy would like to think that they can just go ahead and get this done without any problems or awkwardness, as much as he fantasized and thought about this going as unrealistically smoothly as possible, they're still a couple of teenagers who have never done this before.]

... I don't think we know what we're doing. [He presses a shorter kiss to Billy's lips, then on his jawline, his lips brushing a little further along it before he pauses, then moves down to Billy's shoulder instead of his ear. He's a little nervous and flustered, hence keeping himself busy at the moment.]

I did some reading and looked things up on Google back at home, but I think we're supposed to just... I don't know - wing it until we get to the... big part.

["The big part". Well, it's definitely the part to look forward to, if the way his pants seem to tighten at the words. They weren't even sexy and he's still aroused by it. Hrngh. Does that mean he's hopelessly eager, or is Teddy just that good?

Either way it's unfair. His brows furrow, thinking it over for a long moment, then he lets his hands slide down Teddy's chest and stomach to press against his groin, hands working to get the belt away from his pants.]

Okay, so... business as usual until we get that far, and then we'll figure it out. And I trust you to be careful if... you know. You want.

[He's red again, though there's a slight, awkward smile on his lips; it's his way of offering himself to Teddy, if it's the position his boyfriend is interested in. He's given it a lot of thought in the past, and while he'd have no qualms about going one way or the other, right now he just likes the idea of being under Teddy.

It's a logical step, in a way- Teddy's always watched over him, after all.]
