[Action, January 1st]
Thanks!

[Action, February 10th]
[He doesn't even get a chance to finish. Teddy's turning, and he's doing that dorky voice, and he's lifting the lid to show-]
...Oh. My. God.
[His eyes go as wide as they possibly can. That can't be what he thinks it is! Holy crap, did Teddy seriously make a cup that big!?]
Oh my god! Teddy!
[Action, February 10th]
[He holds the box closer to Billy, in part to keep up with the act, and in part to let him get a better look at it.]
"For I am... Father Reese's!"
[Action, February 10th]
Billy wants to facepalm, but that would mean looking away from this beautiful, beautiful sight. He's never seen so much chocolate deliciousness in one place. It's practically obscene.
But he can't just ignore what Teddy's doing - or saying - so he merely muffles a groan, eyes still wide as saucers.]
You are the biggest dork I've ever met. Oh my god, I can't believe you did this.
[Action, February 10th]
Oh no. Oh no. Billy... I think he figured out where his sons are!
[And that big grin comes back when he pushes the box forward to nudge at Billy's stomach, the lid of it flapping once more as if to nibble there.]
"I will avenge my sons!"
[Action, February 10th]
Careful, you'll drop it! And get chocolate on my shirt, besides...
[And that would be a waste of good chocolate and good fashion. Both are illegal in this household.]
[Action, February 10th]
Teddy ends up laughing quietly as he sets the box down on the table, letting Billy stare all he wants while he goes to get a knife, and hot water, to cut it with.]
What, you really think a chef will drop his own creation? Please.
[Action, February 10th]
[Once Teddy puts down the box, though, he does give himself a long moment to admire it. It's more than just the size, it's- the little details, the ridges, the way it smells... god, it really is perfect.]
...Have I told you lately that you're amazing? Because you are.
[Action, February 10th]
Well... I like hearing it no matter how many times you say it.
[As he fills a cup with hot water, he glances over his shoulder, then at the cup again as he casually remarks:]
You sure you aren't full on tiny cups? We could always eat some of big daddy here later.
[Action, February 10th]
If you can cut, like... a sliver? I really want to try it, but I am kind of full.
[Which he feels a bit silly about, in retrospect. It's just so rare that Teddy's ever up early enough to share breakfast that he's used to sharing food at lunch or dinner instead.]
[Action, February 10th]
A sliver, then. [He sits, waiting for the knife to be ready, and seems to muse on something.] We can have more later, like for lunch. I'm already thinking of making schnitzel with noodles and crisp apple strudels.
[Action, February 10th]
Do you even know what schnitzel is?
[Action, February 10th]
It's in one of my recipe books. You want chicken? Pork? Some other meat?
[Hopefully the knife is at least warm enough to cut the candy with. He'll just go ahead and try - and if that's not enough, his strength can certainly come in handy.]
[Action, February 10th]
Are you serious? You're making it?
[He thought they were joking about it, good grief.]
What is this, Sound-Of-Music Day?
[Action, February 10th]
[Someone looks pleased with himself as he cuts the candy.]
Roses, whiskers on kittens, uncopper kettle, wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings, silver white winters, crisp apple strudels, schnitzel with noodles... I was wondering when you'd catch on.
[Action, February 10th]
[He hadn't thought for a second that it was an actual puzzle, he just figured Teddy was being totally random or something. Now that it's well and truly dawned on him, he grins, leaning in to wind an arm around Teddy and kiss his cheek, careful not to get in the way of the big knife.]
You're adorable. My favourite things! I didn't even know you knew the song!
[Action, February 10th]
[And he finds it very, very sad that he now knows almost all the early songs by heart. But if it makes Billy happy, then it's only slightly less sad.
He's glad, though, that Billy at least partially caught on. He wouldn't want to reveal the last thing and then have to explain what it all meant and ruin the mystery. And now that the cutting is done, the mystery of how the giant Reese's measures up to the real thing is about to be solved as Teddy carefully sets the tiny slice on a plate.]
One of your favorite things. Eat up!
[Action, February 10th]
[But Billy relents anyway - regardless of how Teddy remembered, he obviously did. And he'd rather be doing something else than quibbling over it, namely tasting the piece of deliciousness just served up to him.
He slides the plate closer to himself, carefully lifting the chocolate treat up to his mouth to take an experimental bite.
.....
Hrnghhhh. He could die happy right now.]
[Action, February 10th]
You like it? [Yeah, it's obvious. But Teddy likes to hear compliments, even if he doesn't realize he tends to dig for them a little.]
[Action, February 10th]
[Give him a minute, he's still riding the chocolate-peanut-butter wave.]
Mmm... how could you possibly tell?
[Okay, yeah, maybe he's exaggerating a little. But it really does taste amazing. Teddy never ceases to surprise him with how good his food is, even when Billy's come to expect great taste.]
[Action, February 10th]
[Or maybe it's the near-orgasmic look on Billy's face. Mission successful, then, and it makes Teddy feel giddy inside. It's always a good feeling, making the person you're in love with happy. Even better when it's from cooking, one of the very few hobbies where Teddy can make something with his hands and not break anything.]
Knowing the way you eat, it'll probably last a while, too. [Which means Teddy should probably stay far away from it, lest half of it disappears within a day or less.]
[Action, February 10th]
[He's not sure if he wants to devour the entire thing over the course of the day or savour it thoroughly by making it last several months instead. Then aga in, he is living with the cook...
Speaking of which, Billy hasn't thanked him properly yet, so now that Teddy's sitting closer, he reaches out for his hand.]
Come here, you've got to try it.
[Action, February 10th]
You sure about that? I might just eat the entire slice. You know how I get with food. ... And competition.
[Action, February 10th]
[He lets his actions speak for themselves rather than explaining- as soon as Teddy's close enough, he leans in to press his lips against the blond's, for a deep, grateful, chocolate-peanut-butter-flavoured kiss.]
[Action, February 10th]
Mmm... guess that's one way to try it.
[Action, February 10th]
Mmhm. Seriously though, you can have a slice for real if you want. I don't have to eat it all myself, and you know Tommy's going to want some when he's around.
