[Korra gladly takes his hand, and stands up with his help. She's still a little shaky, but she can walk slowly. She inhales a bit deeply. The natural smell coming off the cloak isn't bad either. ~~MAN SMELL... okay no~~. When she walks she walks close to him.]

Have you been here long, Billy?

Yeah. Teleporter. Just like the elf.

[Teleporters are pretty annoying.]

[If she's paying attention to the scent of it, she might notice a touch of sandlewood; he likes to keep clean, and his uniform is the most important outfit he's got. He's unbothered by how close she walks, stealing occasional glances in her direction to make sure she's walking okay. Her injuries are worrying him, even if they're not life-threatening.]

Let's see... it's August now, so just past three months. What about you?

Just passed one. [She inhales again. Sandalwood? Nice. But as she holds the cloak around her...]

Hope you don't mind if a little blood gets on this.

Mm, it's okay. It won't be the first time.

[Spoken in a completely nonchalant tone. The life of a super hero is just kind of like that.]

Elf? [Billy gives himself a moment to take stock of the X-Men he's aware of who might fit that description, and only one name is coming to mind.] ...Nightcrawler?

Really? You like to rough it up, then?

[He sizes Billy up for a moment before shaking his head.] No, I'm pretty sure I was skinnier. I was bones all over, and on top of that I had pretty severe asthma. [His face lights up in amusement.] I would hope so. You're only what? Fifteen? Sixteen? I was Captain America long before you were born.

[She seems way too pleased about this. Interesting.]

Maybe a little. Sometimes you just can't walk away from a fight.

So what kind of experience do you have, Billy?

[Huh... he's going to go ahead and assume they don't have traditional super heroes in Avatar-land yet.]

Back home I worked with a team of crime fighters.

No kidding! That's sort of my job, too.

[She punches him on arm having forgotten she made them raw and bleeding earlier. She inhales sharply and recoils. Damn.]

[He probably doesn't look like much of a crime fighter when her punch makes him stagger to the side a few steps, though he looks more surprised than hurt by it. Her wince catches his attention, though.]

Your hands don't look so great... are you okay?

Nah, don't worry about it. I'll heal most of this when I get back.

[SPOILERS: She's a healer.]

I could heal it now, if you want.

[SPOILERS: so is he.]

Yeah? You heal me, and I'll get us an umbrella.

[A WATERBENDING UMBRELLA.]

Sounds like a deal to me. Here, give me your hands.

[He reaches out towards her, summoning his magic, a blue glow surrounding them as well as flaring to life in his eyes.

Sixteen, yeah. And I mean- I know the story about you being in the war and everything, but back on my world, Captain America's been saving the world before I was even born. I didn't find out the rest until I got older.

The DC ones, B. And if you tell him, I'm keeping Tim all to myself.

[Teddy smiles against his neck before he scrapes his teeth against the skin - this is one of his favorite spots to play with on Billy's body. Speaking of body, Teddy's straightens up a little when Billy touches his stomach and sends a pleasant little feeling across his muscles. He'll retaliate by sliding his hand across Billy's chest and down his waist, where he'll slip his hand just under the shirt.

Not even a minute into it and he already wants that shirt off.]

If you try to separate me from Tim Drake, Mr. Altman, I'm keeping my clothes on.

[Because he could totally pull that off for long, sharing an apartment with Teddy while no prying eyes are watching. And speaking of clothes, he's starting to lift the edge of Teddy's shirt, trying to access more skin. Teddy's not the only one looking for more contact.]

[She gasps a bit while she watches him to this. No frickin' way! She can tell this guy isn't from her world, so this isn't the Avatar State, but pretty close right? After looking all around, Korra's gaze return to his eyes. Wow she's grinning like an idiot. This is just too cool.]

Yeah. Guess you've got all of us in your world, don't you?

[Good old blue boy. Billy's almost papa.]

Probably a lot more than you're used to, actually. Last I heard there were almost 200 mutants at the mansion.

[He'll just leave out the fact that that's a bad thing, eh-heh.]

[He snorts.]

Sounds like a headache.

[Since her injuries aren't serious, healing them doesn't take long, though it's a much different process than with bending- instead of water, for a long moment it looks as if her hands are being consumed by a warm, gently-soothing blue fire. He remains focused as he works, but once it's done and the glow begins to fade, he returns her grin.]

How's that? Feel any better?
