There’s something else I wanted to talk about today: since I got here almost a year ago I’ve noticed how there’s this huge range of cultural norms across the multiverse- which makes sense, different worlds have different standards, I get it. People who are accepted in one world aren’t tolerated in another. Luceti’s kind of an anomaly, where there’s really not much, if any prejudice. I mean, there’s the whole Malnosso versus Us mentality, but that’s because of what they do, not what they are. Basically what I’m saying is that I think that’s great, and I want to do my part to keep encouraging that universal acceptance here for the people who might not be able to get it back where they come from, open up discussions to people who might not be sure about who or what they are, um...

Okay, this is a really roundabout way of saying I want to start an LGBT club. If you don’t know what that means, here’s a breakdown:

[Below is a jotted list-

L = Lesbian = girls attracted to girls
G = Gay = guys attracted to guys
B = Bisexual = guys and girls attracted to BOTH guys and girls
T = Transgender = People who feel like they were born in the body of the wrong gender (or genderfluid)
*Q = Questioning = Anyone not sure about the above or if they apply

And then it returns to voice.]

Those are really oversimplified, and there's still a lot of other words people use to define themselves, but you get the gist of it. I’d really like to meet up with anyone who matches any those descriptions, or feels like they might, or are just curious about it. I’m gonna put up some posters with suggested meeting times and places, but if you have any questions or just want to talk about it, you can use the journal (it’s okay to be anonymous!) or come right to the school. I’ve got a table set up and I’ll be here pretty much all day. I don't know if this is going to go anywhere, but it's worth a shot, right?

One last thing- we’re looking to make this a safe place, so if you plan to come just to make fun of people: we have a Hulk.

I... have family connections. One of my brothers is a diplomat, the other works for the government. My parents have government connections. They get protective.

Yep. Being interrogated by the KGB is not an experience I want to eh... experience. You hear bad rumours about mages vanishing over there.

God, I can only imagine. Though I can't imagine house arrest or whatever was all that great, either.

It was really boring. Not a whole lot of entertainment in an embassy, especially when you don't have clearance to even look at half of the stuff.

You didn't find it, uh... educational? I've never been to an embassy myself, but it sounds like something that would have a lot of history to it.

My eldest brother is a diplomat. A lot of my family are or have been diplomats and ambassadors. It loses it's novelty quickly.

At least they're not terrorists or something...

Ah, that's okay. I just dork out at the weirdest things, ask anyone who knows me. I'd probably find it cool, but maybe only for a day or two.

Hey, no shame in finding new things exciting. I'm sure there's stuff that's mundane for you that I'd be thrilled by. The internet for one. Apparently it gets more interesting than just emails.

I just love knowing all of this technology is being put to good use. Forget insurrection and revolution, we have cat videos.

I never understood the appeal until I owned a cat myself. But they really are that ridiculous.

I was always a dog person myself. My uncle has a cat though. It's a Seer apparently except you wouldn't know it because it's also a pathological liar.

Technically I've got one of each now, though the dog's my boyfriend's. It's kind of like having a furry little kid. He's not bad, though.

Dogs're pretty good at making you feel better. They don't care. They're always excited.

Although my boyfriend here has dragons and they seem to pretty much fill the same space.

[Anything Billy might've said about dogs is 100% derailed pretty much instantly.]

Yeah, a couple of them. They're babies really and pretty much the cutest things. They're small enough to carry around right now, thankfully, because a lapful of adult dragon is gonna be interesting.

Take some marshmallows over and they'll be your best friends for life. Or at least until the next person feeds them.
