[voice/written/action]
Hey, ah... Vision - I mean, Jonas - of the Young Avengers got sent home. Sorry, if you knew him.
[Why is he always full of bad news? Ugh... let’s try to be less depressing for a while.]
There’s something else I wanted to talk about today: since I got here almost a year ago I’ve noticed how there’s this huge range of cultural norms across the multiverse- which makes sense, different worlds have different standards, I get it. People who are accepted in one world aren’t tolerated in another. Luceti’s kind of an anomaly, where there’s really not much, if any prejudice. I mean, there’s the whole Malnosso versus Us mentality, but that’s because of what they do, not what they are. Basically what I’m saying is that I think that’s great, and I want to do my part to keep encouraging that universal acceptance here for the people who might not be able to get it back where they come from, open up discussions to people who might not be sure about who or what they are, um...
Okay, this is a really roundabout way of saying I want to start an LGBT club. If you don’t know what that means, here’s a breakdown:
[Below is a jotted list-
L = Lesbian = girls attracted to girls
G = Gay = guys attracted to guys
B = Bisexual = guys and girls attracted to BOTH guys and girls
T = Transgender = People who feel like they were born in the body of the wrong gender (or genderfluid)
*Q = Questioning = Anyone not sure about the above or if they apply
And then it returns to voice.]
Those are really oversimplified, and there's still a lot of other words people use to define themselves, but you get the gist of it. I’d really like to meet up with anyone who matches any those descriptions, or feels like they might, or are just curious about it. I’m gonna put up some posters with suggested meeting times and places, but if you have any questions or just want to talk about it, you can use the journal (it’s okay to be anonymous!) or come right to the school. I’ve got a table set up and I’ll be here pretty much all day. I don't know if this is going to go anywhere, but it's worth a shot, right?
One last thing- we’re looking to make this a safe place, so if you plan to come just to make fun of people: we have a Hulk.
[And true to his word, Billy will be at the school, curled up in a chair at a plain table littered with papers. He’s designing posters and doodling various symbols to use for logos. Come bother him if you like?]

[action]
Nn... okay, okay, I'll behave. All we're doing is getting each other all riled up for nothing.
[action]
Mm, yeah... let's try aiming to behave before going back out there. [He opens his eyes slightly, sharing a light smile.] We can keep going at our place.
[action]
I think we can get away with safe-for-work cuddling until then. It'll, you know, promote the club. Gay lifestyle acceptance. Think we can manage it?
[action]
[First step to cooling down is to move his hands to a better spot and free up Billy's hips.
...
Move his hands to a - okay, there we go. Up to the bottom of Billy's ribcage instead. He presses a few chaste kisses of his own against Billy's lips, though the kisses grow longer each time before he catches himself and ducks his head, a quiet, sheepish laugh escaping him.]
God, okay. Okay, thinking about unsexy things right now. Unsexy is good.
[action]
Book six-age Dumbledore in a men's bathhouse.
[How's that for unsexy?]
[action]
Ugh, it doesn't help that he'd probably be eying all the guys there. [A small pause, and then he gives that sort of smile like he's trying not to laugh at his own joke.] Like Théoden while he's possessed by Saruman.
[action]
Great, now you've upgraded the nightmare to all the old men of fandom in the bathhouse together.
[action]
[His boner is effectively killed, at least. Teddy lets their hands hang at their side, his thumbs gently stroking Billy's, and gives a tilt of his head.]
So, wanna go back outside? Or stay in here for another five minutes? [Not that Teddy knows just how much time has passed - a little hard to keep track when you've got your mouth occupied and all. But it might be nice to cozy up for a few minutes before stepping into the safe-for-work zone.
... Then again, staying for a few minutes might push them right back into not-safe-for-work.]
[action]
[And if the old men talk hadn't killed his boner, mentioning his mother certainly would have done the job.]
I would suggest flipping a coin for it, but we're fresh out of those.
[action]
[action]
What are you saying, that I should face my fears and experience a dramatic, soul-searching journey of self-discovery?
[She'd have been a little proud of that one.]
[action]
[Because Luceti really, really doesn't count. Teddy himself pointedly avoids whatever might be an erogenous zone, including Billy's wings and neck, though he does lazily stroke his fingers up and down Billy's lower back.]
But what I'm really saying is that we might as well indulge your fears and stay away from "like-minded peers" for a little longer. Then we'll suck it up and head back out there. [Really, it's just an excuse to cuddle a bit longer. Even if it is in a restroom.]
[action]
[One more hum, and he leans in and burrows his face against Teddy's chest, indulging in the other boy's embrace. Cuddling suits him just fine, even if it's for just a few minutes more.]
Soul-searching might have to wait, though. I doubt we'd find much in a school or even a little village like this.
[action]
Hm... If we were back on Earth, where would we go? [Assuming no one hitched a ride with them. Like Tommy.]
[action]
[The fun part about being from the future with someone from the past is you get to experience the same conversations in different ways, eh Teddy? Not that Billy has a clue.]
[action]
Both places sound like a blast... even if they're near beaches. Maybe we can hit up Paris after? See if it lives up to its name and all... And if not, St. Louis.
[action]
Isn't Paris supposed to be kind of rank? I vote Spain. Though St. Louis sounds okay too, if we wanted something closer to home.
[action]
[Then he leans back, enough to look down at Billy's face.] Or we could go to New Zealand and walk where the rest of the LotR cast walked. That sounds like a soul-searching journey right there.
[action]
Oh my god, I have no idea about half of what you just said and it all sounds amazing. Whatever you want to do. Whatever.
[action]
Then New Zealand it is! There's something to look forward to. A super awesome roadtrip with your boyfriend.
[Teddy looks forward to it anyway, because omg walking along the same pathways as the Fellowship did, kyaaaa~]
Now, as romantic as cuddling in the boys' bathroom with you is...
[action]
Teddy's words do sort of wake him up out of the beautiful Lord of the Rings-themed daydream, and after another muffled protest he finally pulls up, then back, hands brushing over Teddy's arms.]
...I guess we've left the table long enough.
[action]
Can't have the club president and vice president missing out on actually recruiting people, after all.
[action]
[Give up on the hair, Teddy, it's a lost cause. Something Billy seems perfectly fine with, grabbing Teddy's hand and tugging him away from the door to unlock it.]
