[Okay, so. Post-draft, he's given himself a few days of seclusion and bed-rest (apparently being infected with a zombie virus is exhausting), and even Billy can freely admit to himself that he's been pretty depressed lately, a fact for which he feels no shame considering that depression was well and truly earned. One can only spend so much time fretting, moping, and dwelling on one's own misery for so long, however, and today? He's decided that enough is enough. Billy will be going out today, limping around the village and visiting the people who were on the draft whose fate he's still uncertain of. The ones he can't find or has no reason to actually visit, he'll check with a light location spell, and he'll spend a few hours at Seventh Heaven people-watching out the window while he doodles in a book that Teddy had given him containing a series of patterns (much like this) that resemble inkblogs, and bit by bit Billy's turning them into something like this instead. It's been a tiring week, though, so you could always catch him napping on the table, instead.

At some point he'll attempt to find Peter, and when both a location spell and a teleport fails, he tries to teleport to the apartment he'd been staying at instead, finding it almost completely emptied. All he manages to dig up is a small cartridge that, after a moment of scrutiny, he identifies as a web fluid cartridge. His fanboyish glee at the discovery is tempered by the fact that the empty apartment means one more piece of bad news.

After his visits and window-watching is done, he'll return home to make the announcement, along with one more message-]

Hey out there... just wanted to let his friends know that Peter Parker went home. So... sorry. Yeah.

...We still on for tomorrow, or do you want to take a break? Because... you know. [Draft. Awfulness all around. He wouldn't blame Loki if he wanted to take a week off.

Later on in the evening he'll be over at Ben's barbeque, if anyone wants to bother him while he's there.]

I think it's safe to say everyone would agree with that.

I actually wouldn't mind a dog.

[In fact he'd love a dog; Teddy's always wanted one, they could just never afford to feed another mouth while living comfortably like they did, nor was a small New York apartment the best home for a dog, especially a large one like Teddy would prefer.

But enough about dogs. Yes, they do have somewhere to go later, and yes, Billy's leg is still pretty injured, but they can do other things, right?

Like Teddy moving his lips to Billy's inner thigh and one hand up to rest over the front of his pants, where he flicks the zipper teasingly.]

Mm, jeez, B, it was just a foot massage... [Of course he knows he did a lot more than that.]

[A dog, huh. Billy gives that a moment's thought, though certainly not a long moment, considering the distractions Teddy is giving him and his legs. Pets still aren't something he gives a lot of attention to, but considering how long they've been here now, maybe it's not an unreasonable thing to think about anymore...

Something for later. Right now Teddy's got a hand near his crotch and he feels like he's getting teased now. Somewhat frustrated, he reaches out to stroke his hair through Teddy's hair, gently at first, then getting himself a good handful to tug. It's not intended to be painful, just urgent.]

Shut up and come up here already.

[Rogue didn't look away from him. Initially confused about where he was coming from, Rogue recognized that this - this had to be out of some personal experience. She could practically see it on him. And when she spoke, her voice was quiet.]

An' just what [she had to pause to keep her voice modulated] do ya think I had ta do to get you and Teddy out? Hold hands with the zombies an' sing kumbaya? [She leaned forward, intent.] You don't wanna kill anyone, fine. I can see that means a lot to you. What do ya think it means ta me?

[Her eyes were filled with shadows.]

[Teddy lets a quiet surprised noise, the movement pulling him up enough to be right in front of Billy's crotch, and he can't help letting out a snore. He's pretty sure this isn't what Billy meant, but he'll still tease enough to press a light kiss against the spot.]

And you call me impatient. [Now to actually follow through with that request by getting up on his hands and knees, then crawling upwards a couple paces before lowering himself enough to press a hungry kiss to Billy's lips, a slight flush to his cheeks as well. This is good, definitely good, and Teddy figures he can keep this up before moving on down to finish things off.]

Considering it's you, I can't imagine anyone managing to keep a straight face for long.

[It's all he has the time to speak, because suddenly they're kissing, and all he can think is finally. He's been wanting to do that ever since Teddy got his tongue involved. His arms wind around Teddy's neck, pulling him closer and eagerly opening up to the kiss. He's pretty sure he knows what his boyfriend was intending to do next, and he figures they ought to have some reciprocity first- before he does something selfish like doze off.]

Is it? I mean, I wouldn't know. Never been. [ She takes another sip, considering him over the rim of her mug. ]

How you doing?

[ Said casually, but. ]

[He flinches at that - her words, her tone, the look in her eyes - and has to drop his gaze, hands tightening around each other again, his knuckles white.]

I-I know. I'm sorry... I'm sorry for that,for calling you out there, for putting everyone in danger, for... putting you in that position. It's my fault, I should've- I just wanted to save Teddy...

[He hadn't really been thinking about anything else; he and Teddy had made it as far as they had without killing the zombies, but it had also gotten them wounded and trapped. Reckless ideals really did have no place in a war, but how is he supposed to just sit around and do nothing when it happens?

That's not the only thing that's bothering him either, but he's afraid to ask, with her looking like that. Even if it's what he came here to do in the first place.]

[Uh-huh, that wasn't vaguely traumatizing in any way whatsoever. He sighs quietly, shaking his head and trying not to smile awkwardly, and moves to stand.]

...Well. Now that you've ruined my sex life for the rest of the month, I should head home and give Teddy the bad news. Speaking of which, though, in case you didn't get an invite already, Ben's having a big barbeque over at the apartment tonight, if you feel like joining the party.

[The question makes him pause, glancing down at his mug, smiling a bit awkwardly. He'd like to say he's fine, but that would be such an obvious lie it's not even worth the attempt.]

Mm... better. It was just- it was really bad out there. And we're okay now- Teddy's fine, Tommy's the same as ever, and I'm just happy to be back. But... you know. It takes time.

Never hurts to spice things up a bit sometimes, though. Add a bit of colour here and there. Otherwise how do you stand out with your teammates?

Yeah, okay.

[Sigh. Much as he hates the tediousness of repetition, it's true. Repetition and imagination are his best weapons when it comes to improvement with his powers.]

...Hey, do you ever use magic to heal? Or do gods just kind of recover automatically when you're injured?

Billy, I'm the guy with the weapon from the paleolithic. And the great arms. It's not easy to conceal carry a bow.

[Teddy lets out a small, pleased sound in the kiss once Billy pulls him down, and thanks to that, he lowers himself enough to press his body against his boyfriend's, particularly his hips once he's sure they're aligned. Yup, talking's over. He moves one arm to balance his weight above Billy's head, the other sliding down until it's against Billy's hip and moving under the waistline of his pants, desperate to touch some skin now that things are getting more heated.

... And yeah, he'd rather you not doze off either, Billy.]

[Oh are they- oh. Oh.

Okay.

Billy groans softly into the kiss, one hand sliding up to sift through Teddy's hair as his hips lift to meet the other boy's. When he feels a hand brush past his pants, he inhales somewhat shakily, moving his unoccupied hand to tug Teddy's shirt upwards to expose the blond's back. If bare skin is on the menu, he's game to enjoy it as well.]

I do, on occasion. But I prefer to not.

It is... not an area in which I have specialized.

[At least 88% of the time.

She laughs when Billy stands to make his exit.]  Oh please.  I think you’ll find a way to manage somehow.  [Pepper has little doubt in the power of a teenage male’s sex drive.

The mention of the barbeque has her expression falling a bit, however.  Her desire to eat meat has been significantly lessened since she’d been cured, and she’s only been back to eating actual food for a day besides.  Pepper looks over at Tony, briefly meeting his eyes, then back toward Billy.]

Thank you, but I’m going to pass.  I’m technically not supposed to be leaving the house until the day after tomorrow anyway.  [It’s the safest reason, one that hopefully won’t lead to questions she doesn’t entirely want to answer.]

I am glad to be found entertaining. [A pretty jester, that is what he was. Something he's used to playing.] I wounder if I should offer my services to the village as a whole...

[He wasn't surprised at Pepper's response at all; in fact, he wasn't inclined to go even before she'd answered, with the way she needed to recover. And it wasn't just for her sake. He didn't want to leave her yet, either.]

Give them our regards, though. Or don't. It doesn't really matter.

You'd be amazed at how easy it is to lose people in battle when you don't have hawk eyes.

I am, just more at home than at work. I do help out in the kitchen when someone's sick though. Otherwise, I'm one of Sanji's waitresses. But sometimes, you just bring people stuff because they look like they need a friend.

I wonder... if it means anything, when it's harder for some than for others.

[His voice is quiet, almost to himself, and after a moment he looks up again, brows furrowed.]

I don't heal well. With other people it's always been hit and miss, and I've never been able to heal myself, not once.

Haha, I will anyway. And preemptively pass along their condolences to not getting to see you.

[He starts for the door, offering a backhand wave, intent on letting himself out as usual.]

Well, I suppose I do have an advantage there. There is always the argument tha in a firefight, I probably don't want to be seen.
