[Loki is completely unbothered by the once-over. Really, if William weren't far too young and potentially a student [something says that is wrong, wrong, wrong] he'd probably be returning the favor.]

A bit old? I think I might feel insulted.

[He gently runs his fingers over his cheeks.]

Am I looking particularly hag-like today? Now I feel self-conscious.

But hm, tight pants. That might be nice for dancing. All of my pants seem to be made of leather, and it's a bit heavy for that sort of fun.

[This is another small cause for concern to him. What sort of person wears that much leather? It's like armor for every day wear.]

Mature, then. Older. Mini-skirts and short-shorts are for kids and teenagers, an adult wearing them is just embarrassing. And... you're into dancing? Wouldn't have guessed that.

[Suddenly intrigued. Who would have thought that Mr. Science-and-Magic would be interested in the arts as well?]

Ah, I understand. I'd rather not embarrass anyone with my state of dress. [Particularly not himself!

He grins.]

Indeed, I have gone dancing twice now since we have been thus inflicted. It seems quite a natural activity so I think it must be something that I do often normally. At the risk of sounding arrogant, I seem to be quite good at it. The man who is normally my dance partner has been complimentary, and I don't think he's merely trying to spare my feelings.

Is dancing a thing you like?

Honestly? I don't know. I can't remember ever trying it. It sounds nice, though. Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.

[He's already discovered that he's a fan of music, so dancing just seems like the next logical step.]

You ought to try, then. Why not? It's quite fun. If you like, you are most welcome to join myself and Bucky.

[Bucky seems the easygoing sort. He doesn't think the man will mind.]

[He dances with other guys? Is that normal for this place or is there just a plethora of gay in the populace? Maybe this explains why he woke up in bed to his apparently-straight roommate.]

I might just do that.

That would be lovely. I shall let you know when next I am going to dance. 'tis very fun. And should you not physically recall how to dance, I think Bucky and myself ought to be able to teach you readily enough.

I'm really starting to think that you're a teacher.

Really? [Loki laughs.] Perhaps that's what I am. I do seem to like teaching. Or perhaps I just have a few things that I'm quite good at and wish to share.

Isn't that kind of the definition of a teacher, though? You don't have to be official about it or anything.

I do that sometimes, apparently. At least, that's what I'm going to assume.

[He jerks a thumb behind himself, gesturing towards a few of the other racks.]

I should get back to shopping, though, Teddy'll wonder where I ran off to. Don't bury your face in so many books that you get lost, alright?

I think it's a fair assumption to make. You're quite bright.

[He grins and waves William off.]
