Thanks!

[He manages to keep from doing that as they move, though, gripping the reins so tightly his knuckles are white, but staying upright somehow. It's an odd feeling, a big animal body moving under him, and he opts to focus on Loki instead. As much as possible, anyway.]

[Though it means running away is more acceptable. In general.]

I just thought you'd like to know since you find such things interesting.

[Manipulative asshole 8(
The talking thing is working, though. He seems more relaxed, bit by bit, the longer this goes. He's still not exactly at home on the horse's back, but it's not as terrifying as it initially seemed. Just... weird, mostly.]

And that is why I refuse the idea thatyou will not enjoy riding an Aesir horse once you've gotten over this temporary fear. He's even the right sort of horse, since you are a magician.
[...Thor's horse would eat you for breakfast, Billy.]

What is it with people calling him cute and whatnot, though? Teddy does it too. He's not cute, dammit 8(]
Honestly, I'm surprised you're letting me ride Vakri, more than anything else. I thought he wouldn't let anybody but you do this?

[He grins.]
He won't, unless I tell him otherwise. He knows you are all right now.

He's come a long way from arguing about "useful allies" in the playground.
Billy's hands tighten on the reins, smiling faintly to himself.]
...That's... reassuring.

It ought to be. Relax, Billy.

[It's a tricky balance. Sort of like sitting on a moving horse, actually.]
How long do I need to ride him? And how often?
no subject
Half an hour to an hour, four times a week at the least. If you want to take him out a bit more often or for longer, I think it would make him quite happy.

[Another shift in the saddle, and- ahhh. He's found a good position at last. Now he's comfortable.]
I could have sworn they needed to talk about something and now I can't remember what...
Let's have you ride a bit longer, and then we can turn our attention to magic.
I thought it was just so billy could babysit vakri but now I'm not even sure
[No offense, Vakri. The horse gets a little pat on the neck - when he's brave enough to let go with one hand - to make sure he knows. It's him, not you, horse!]
it was on a Monday...
He shall take good care of you, Billy. He has saved my life many a time.
[And in more ways than just in battle.]
legit cannot remember
[Much as he loves doing the whole Avengers thing, this really isn't the place for it. Plus charging a horse into battle just sounds like a bad idea for a novice.]
then let's call it good
