Yeah, but "anything" is way cool. Less limits, right?

...Okay, I can't lie, it does come in handy a lot. but it's a little scary, too, so I have to be careful not to let it get to my head.

[Billy shrugs his shoulders, ignoring the look. The rope is detached and wrapped up on a chair by the counter, by the way. He defeated the knot with magic, not that he'll admit as much.]

Afraid so. Batman comics are pretty popular in my world, which is surprising considering we have "real" super heroes on the news every day.

[He'll be snatching that rope remnant and ninja-ing it back into his belt, thanks. Resources are really hard to come by here.]

And what makes you so sure they're accurate?

[Yes. Yes, he does love it when he cheats. But nnngh, he wants to reciprocate so badly, he wants those pants off of him so that he can make him squirm and moan, and finally do what they've been trying to do for a while now -

But no, he's the one squirming and giving a half smile, eyes darkening a little further by the thoughts and wants through his head, by the sparks of electricity that Billy's shooting through him just by breathing on him. Honestly, right now, Teddy's probably ready enough to flip his boyfriend over and get things started already, and he about feels like doing that. But... no, it's better to take their time. Especially with this, their first time at... going further. Plus there's... things to do, before that, to make sure they both get everything they want out of this.

The hand gripping into Billy's hair tightens just slightly, and his other hand moves to tease him further, fingertips brushing across his shoulders and over the crook of his neck, then back over the spot with his nails. Two can play at this game, despite the position he's in.]

Ha... Take as long as you want, then. [Even though his body's screaming NO LET'S DO THIS RIGHT NOW, he's at least determined to show that not all of him is impatient.]

[At least half the fun is driving Teddy crazy, even if it's delaying things a little. His shoulders hunch slightly, his muscles tense and trembling under Teddy's fingers, and the brush of his hands drives him onwards, sliding on his knees to get closer and take that hard length in his hands even deeper, stroking with lips and tongue to ensure that his arousal wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. He can't answer Teddy (for obvious reasons) but he's hoping that his actions will speak loudly enough so that he doesn't have to.

He loves this- loves the feel of Teddy beneath him, the touch of his hands, the movement of each part of his body, the sounds he makes. He can tell by how tense the blond is that he's dying to take things further, which only fuels Billy's desire to make him wait. He knows he can be pretty damn impatient too - even more than Teddy sometimes - but knowing that just makes it even more important that they take it slow.

They'll never have a first time again, even if (assuming all goes well, which he will until proven otherwise) this is going to happen plenty of times in the future. He wants it to be good, and he wants it to last.

So he makes each stroke of his mouth long and languid, prolonging it as much as he can, seeing how crazy he can drive Teddy before the other boy is pushed to his limit.]

Get to your head? What's that supposed to mean? You can't have a little fun with it?

I can't be sure, not unless you say so. But I'm guessing they at least got a few details right.

[He lifts a brow at Robin, looking him up and down. The costume's pretty spot on, bro.]

Oh, I have fun, trust me. [Plenty of it, in fact.] But I mean, I can't abuse my powers. Imagine if I teleported myself any time I had to leave the house - I'd gain a hundred pounds and everyone would think I'm lazy.

[There are other reasons, of course, like toying with someone's memory or messing around with reality, but he's trying to keep her cheered up, not freaked out.]

[Excuse him, but this Robin wears pants.]

Let me try this a different way.

Does the name Slade mean anything to you? [IF YOU ARE WORKING FOR HIM, SO HELP YOU.]

[Korra laughs lightly.]

Guess that would be a bummer.

[Billy lifts a brow, slowly working towards trying to sort out a point in time for Robin now.]

Out of all the villains you could've picked, you went for Slade?

[If he's focusing on that guy, that means he's at least Titan-era...]

[NOT AMUSED NOT AMUSED SO NOT AMUSED.]

So you do know things. Tell me everything.

[...Well. Normally Billy is against sharing comic history with the characters in case he shares info that could screw with them, but Robin did ask, so okay.

He shrugs, and continues to make his toast while he launches into a long and surprisingly detailed explanation of this. Robin's free to cut him off whenever he wants or ask questions, but Billy can go on for a while.]

[It might not matter that Billy has a policy against spoiling characters, because Robin doesn't let him get very far. It's curious that this summary skips over the very-important-in-Robin's-opinion apprenticeship he'd done under Slade's demand, but when talk went to Terra it railroaded all over Robin's other sore point.]

What do you mean he had a relationship with Terra?? [She's like fourteen. That's. Robin doesn't even KNOW what to call that.]

[Billy makes a face.]

Yeah, I know- pretty skeevy, right? I have no idea why they did it, especially when comics are usually for kids.

[This face. That's his life you're talking about, Kaplan.]

[YOU ASKED, BRO. 8|

And if Robin's just going to stand there making faces, Billy will carry on with his explanation like he hadn't even been interrupted. :|]

[Awww, yeah, he got her to laugh. He feels pretty boss now.]

I know a few people who'd definitely complain about it, anyway!

[But Robin will interrupt soon enough, because he is most definitely not buying this.]

If you're trying to throw me off the trail, it's not working. You're saying things that don't match up with facts. [There are enough subtle canon differences to invalidate this entire line of reasoning. There's no way Slade would've been as hung up on apprentices if he actually had kids. And what the hell kind of name is "Deathstroke" anyway?]

[Korra keeps her eyes on him as she heads toward the door, and rests her hand on the handle.]

Well... thanks, Billy. It was great to meet ya. [And he visibly lightened her mood.]

Oh, it doesn't? Maybe you're from a different universe or something... or one I haven't seen yet. Apparently there's tons of different 'verses out there. Comics, cartoons, books- Batman's really popular.

[He's trying to keep things casual; he knows it's a weird thing to discuss, even if he hasn't experienced the surreality of it himself, yet.]

[He lifts a hand to wave, free hand resting on his hip.]

Same to you, Korra. I'm glad I could help.

[Both with the teleport, and the mood. It's always nice to cheer someone up.]

[It's good that Billy's trying, but it's still not what Robin wants to hear.]

I assure you I'm not a cartoon.

[He is taking this way too seriously. D| Oh well, Billy gave it a shot.]
