Really, Billy, if I wanted that desperately to stuff my pillows with owl down, do you think I'd be going to all this trouble?

Knowing you? Yeah, actually.

[Seriously, you were putting on a big magic musical number not that long ago because you were bored. Pranking the village (and an obnoxious giant owl) by stealing all the books isn't a stretch.]

[Loki waves a hand.]

No, if I wanted fresh feathers, I'd kill the bloody owl and skin him.

But know he'll come back, I would much rather provide a lesson. And this is the most gentle sort I teach.

Just... try not to get anyone killed. That would be nice.

[Teddy feels a burst of pride at that, at making Billy unable to really get any words out. It takes a bit of shifting, but soon he's able to circle his tongue fully around Billy's length as he lowers his head down to the base, taking him entirely, and then back, hands pressing against Billy's hips to keep them down. Once he reaches the tip, he lifts his head away entirely, then looks up at Billy with a smile on his face.]

Well?

[Though he doesn't give Billy much time to answer, seeing how he's opened his mouth and taken him in again, this time freeing Billy's hips, allowing him to thrust all he wants.]

[Billy only has a second to catch his breath before Teddy takes him in again, and he'd tried to speak but when he opens his mouth all that comes out is a gasping cry. He thrusts helplessly, though he tries to hold back after the first one- he'd expected Teddy's hands to keep him down again, so the sudden freedom is both alarming and exhilarating all at once. He murmurs a breathless apology and buries his hand in Teddy's hair again, lifting his hips more carefully this time. Hopefully Teddy'd shifted his gag reflex away or something. He seemed to have mastered that one.

...Ohgod, that feels amazing.]

...ha... hnnnngh... this... this is good... m-more of... this...

[Or. You know. Something similar. He's easy.

Ohgod.]

[Well. He couldn't quite shift that gag reflex away fast enough, so he does end up having to clear his throat a few times before he's back on track, sending Billy a quick little frown, then a two fingered saluted once he gets that apology. He's fine, it was just a bit startling. A dick at the back of your throat kinda does that to you.

Oh, but there we go. Finally, some clarification. Another smirk builds up, and he lets Billy have his way with his mouth for a moment longer before he slowly pulls back, though he strokes with his hand to let the pleasure gradually die down rather than be suddenly cut off.]

I don't recall that being on the list. But I know something like it...

[He shifts forward until he's got his legs on either side of Billy's hips, gazing down at him all the while, and reaches over to get the lube from the nightstand. ... It takes two or three pats to figure out where drawer with it actually is, but once he's got it, he already starts to uncap it. He did tease Billy something good and all.]

[Billy offers up a sheepish, heady smile, hands moving to rub up and down Teddy's hips and trying to regain control of his breathing now that he doesn't have his boyfriend's lips distracting him. Gazing up at him like this, watching sweat glisten on his skin in the dim light, his tousled hair, the easy smirk on his lips...

...god, he looks amazing.

I get to marry this guy.

The thought fills him with excitement again, cheeks growing more flushed at the sudden rush of mental images - waking up next to each other for the rest of their lives, a wedding in Central Park or the Avengers garden holy crap, fights in the kitchen and after-battle makeouts in the hall, costumes hung together in combined closets, growing out of awkward teenage bodies into real adults with real responsibilities and real independence. Getting to see this body, those eyes, that smile, every day. It's not like it's that much different from what they already have now, but he knows. He knows the difference.

It may be Teddy's show right now, but Billy can't just keep his hands to himself and wait. While Teddy fumbles for the lube, he slides a hand away from Teddy's hips and wraps it around the blond's length, stroking slowly.]

I like... where this is going.

[Dryly:] I'm trying very hard to not get anyone killed. To not get anyone so much as scratched as a matter of fact. Your faith is so appreciated.

[Even more dryly:] One might only hope that those so interested in talking sense to the owl will make good use of the superior bargaining position I intend to supply.

[Billy doesn't argue, though he could point out Loki's history of not getting people killed isn't stellar. But he is getting better, so.]

I think they'd be stupid not to. Though I don't know if it's even possible to strike up a deal with him.

[He watched the show. Stealing books was the resolution to this problem then, too.]

[His lips twist.]

From what I seem to recall, I doubt that will be the case either. But perhaps I shall be wrong.

He will have to deal in some form or another. I shan't be letting him have his way. One might hope he won't be fool enough to make it a fight.

Mm.

[Billy just hopes that Loki won't be relying on him if that happens. He knows he's going to be no use in a fight.]

I need to talk to Teddy about this.

Please do.

[Teddy nods at that; he's still a bit concerned, but this is Billy's personal journey. Teddy's just coming along as a support, and to remind him of his roots and where they started from.]

Okay... let me know if it gets that way later.

[It'd be a bit of a waste of energy to be worn out by the time they get to their destination. Now that that's settled, Teddy gives a couple of short whistles, which makes Optimus scamper towards him, tail wagging and excited over the prospect of getting out of the apartment for a while.]

Misty, you guard the apartment. [He says as Misty looks out the window like she doesn't even give a crap. Figuring his message came across anyway, Teddy goes to hold the door open for Billy, glancing at Optimus as he walks out first.]

Will do.

[Misty gets a little wave and a blown kiss (not that she gives a crap about that either); he'd already given her a good rubdown before he finished his packing, and he doesn't want to waste his energy carting himself and his bags over to her just so she can ignore him up close as well as from a distance. She's just being her normal catty self.

Optimus gets a smile and a little nudge, and he's out the door along with the dog, offering that smile up for Teddy as well. He wants this to be good for his boyfriend, at least, even if he feels jittery as hell about it for the moment.

He'll get over it. Surely, eventually, this feeling will go away.]

I'm just glad we don't have to deal with the stairs right now.

God, yeah. Going down wouldn't be as much of a problem as going up, but it'd still be a pain.

[At least, for Billy, it would be. Teddy, not so much. But he can empathize.

Once they reach the elevator and are waiting for it to reach their floor, Teddy leans over to kiss his fiancé's cheek. He does have one hand free, the other full of leash, but he doesn't want to jostle Billy too much by holding his hand or slipping an arm around his shoulders.]

Hey... I'm proud of you. You know that, right?

[Billy blinks in surprise at the kiss, his cheeks turning faintly pink, but mission accomplished, it seems: his smile becomes more genuine, and he glances down at the floor a bit shyly.]

I haven't even done anything yet, let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

[He could still chicken out and run back home.]

Let's not sell ourselves short, either. You're taking the first few steps, and those are the hardest ones. Or something like that.

[Especially since it's been months since Billy used any kind of magic. He tilts his head with a smile, then steps in a bit closer to let his arm touch Billy's.]

And I'm here for the rest of the steps you take, too.

...Mm. I know.

[Billy's gaze shifts to where their skin is touching, his smile softening, and he nudges Teddy to follow him into the elevator when the doors open. He feels... less guilty somehow, hearing that. Like it's okay to just try. Like he doesn't have to push himself too hard right from the start. If he's too worn out here, he'll really want to give up later, when he has nothing to fall back on.

Nothing but him, that is.

....

Slowly, reluctantly, he lets one of his bags slide from his shoulder and sets it on the elevator base to free his hand and punch the main floor's button. Then, after taking a deep breath, he lifts the bag up again... and offers it out to Teddy. It's the lighter of the two, mostly clothes and random supplies rather than the hefty excess of books he'd packed, but it's something.]

[Teddy glances at the bag, then softens his own smile as he wordlessly takes the bag and easily hoists it over his shoulder. It's not the bag he'd prefer to carry, but it's something. Lessening some of the burden and letting him carry some of it, at least.

Instead of actively pointing it out, Teddy just leans over and gives Billy's temple a gentle kiss as the elevator moves downward. He loves him so much, and he can feel his pride grow, too.

Because really, it's not about throwing himself into this headfirst and possibly draining himself in the process. It's about the fact that he's testing the waters for the first time, that he's going to try. For Teddy, that's the most important part.]

[It takes a while to get to the mountains, never mind up them, and on the way Billy's painfully glad that he gave up half his burden rather than trying anything reckless. The climb is at times perilous, and certainly difficult; it's enough of a trial without the added weight of too much stuff. He'd have been punishing himself just to walk up alone and carrying nothing.

Thankfully he had supplies, and more importantly he had Teddy, so they managed to reach their goal without dying horribly, and he considers that to be a victory. Even Optimus seems tired when they stop to set up camp, and that dog is practically impossible to wear out, so as soon as the tent is up and the blankets laid out, Billy sits down and flops on his back, staring wearily up at the sky. They'd left pretty early, but it's already approaching the evening.]

Oh my god. Oh my god, we are so flying down when we're done.

[That gets a smile to come up on Teddy's face as he sits beside Billy, knees up with his arms against them as he looks up at the sky as well. He's not quite as tired as Billy and Optimus are, what with the dog flopping down by the tent and panting while watching the two of them do all the work. But that was still quite a trip, even for a super strong guy like himself.]

Only if I get to carry the books while you carry Optimus.

[Although... the thought of flying, the thought of this going well enough for Billy to try flying, the image of soaring through the air side by side again...

It's a good image. And a good, yet longing feeling that comes up with it.]

Somehow I feel like you'll get the better end of that deal. Optimus is already a notorious wriggler, he's got to be ten times worse in the air.

[Still, the prospect is... not as terrifying as he thought it would be, leaving his mouth? He wasn't sure if he meant them both flying together or just Teddy carrying them down or...

Hm. Well, he'll start with the basics and see where the books take him by the end of the week.]

That's the whole point.

[He lets his leg lean to the side to bump up against Billy's teasingly before he pulls it back up again. Teddy's not letting him know one way or the other what he means, just in case Billy still doesn't think he's ready to fly. No need to put pressure on him or anything.]

It's pretty nice out. It'll probably get too dark to get started on anything tonight, though...

[Oh. Ooooh that feels good, the long drag of Billy's hand against his erection. Teddy stops his work for a second to let out a quiet groan, hips tipping forward into the touch, indulging in the sensation for a moment. With all that he'd been doing to Billy, his own arousal had gotten a little needy, wanting attention and aching for more. He can enjoy this for a good while.

But after a moment, Teddy lets that smile come up again as he pushes his hips backwards, enough so that Billy's erection brushes up against his ass, just near the opening that he'll be working on soon.]

How bad do you want this? [He squeezes out the lube in his fingers, though he doesn't get to work just yet, instead trailing a slick finger down Billy's chest.] How bad do you want me?
