No. That's something you need to do on your own. Find a way to make it up to them. Do your best to make sure that something like that never happens again. But casting away your powers isn't going to make them go away and it's not going to help these people.

It might, for a time, give them some peace of mind. Until they come back to reality and remember that you're not the worst thing this place has to offer.
