[Okay, so. Post-draft, he's given himself a few days of seclusion and bed-rest (apparently being infected with a zombie virus is exhausting), and even Billy can freely admit to himself that he's been pretty depressed lately, a fact for which he feels no shame considering that depression was well and truly earned. One can only spend so much time fretting, moping, and dwelling on one's own misery for so long, however, and today? He's decided that enough is enough. Billy will be going out today, limping around the village and visiting the people who were on the draft whose fate he's still uncertain of. The ones he can't find or has no reason to actually visit, he'll check with a light location spell, and he'll spend a few hours at Seventh Heaven people-watching out the window while he doodles in a book that Teddy had given him containing a series of patterns (much like this) that resemble inkblogs, and bit by bit Billy's turning them into something like this instead. It's been a tiring week, though, so you could always catch him napping on the table, instead.

At some point he'll attempt to find Peter, and when both a location spell and a teleport fails, he tries to teleport to the apartment he'd been staying at instead, finding it almost completely emptied. All he manages to dig up is a small cartridge that, after a moment of scrutiny, he identifies as a web fluid cartridge. His fanboyish glee at the discovery is tempered by the fact that the empty apartment means one more piece of bad news.

After his visits and window-watching is done, he'll return home to make the announcement, along with one more message-]

Hey out there... just wanted to let his friends know that Peter Parker went home. So... sorry. Yeah.

[In this case that credit has definitely been well-earned. Pepper settles back onto the couch, taking advantage of the blanket since Billy’s refused it. The comment about Teddy rolling him out of bed gets a laugh as Pepper pictures it in her mind.]

Not to mention that there’s only so long anyone can stand to be in bed, I think. I know I’m definitely ready to be able to do things again.

[Tony finds a seat in the armchair, watching the other two closely. He's all for being up and at 'em when they're ready, but don't even think about overdoing it. 8|]

[now there is a very sad face on a very tired looking young man. Zevran had poked his head into Seventh Heaven in his now daily rounds for Katiness since her death. It'd been a very frustrating week, more still with what he'd heard of the draft. He hadn't been called and for that he was glad. But to sit and stew in a village with an unexplained death and no idea who was responsible for it? He'd been out of sorts. Frustrated. Having someone to poke fun at and potentially cheer would do wonders for his mood.

With a bowl of stew and an easy smile Zev slid into the chair across from Billy. There was no reason they should both be in a poor mood.]

Why such a sad face, my friend?

[It takes a moment for the nudge to register, but then Billy's eyes open, and he reluctantly lifts his head, stretching his arms out over the length of his table.]

Oh geez... I didn't mean to fall asleep. Thanks for waking me up.

Jane! I didn't know you were back.

[One less thing to worry about, apparently.]

Ah... do you want to come by the apartment? I just got home, and I don't think I can get myself to go out again. Mr. Grimm's having a barbeque here later, though, so you can stay for dinner if you're not busy.

[The soup looks hot and it's rude to slurp with company, but Goldfish are hard to resist, so he'll help himself to a few of those first. Mmm, sinfully good cheese crackers.]

Yeah, uh... definitely noticed that. I'm just keeping an eye out for the people I know.

Well... I bit Teddy. [So yeah, hurting someone was definitely a thing that happened.] They got him cured soon after that, though, so luckily he didn't end up changing.

[His eyebrows raise. There's an obvious joke to be made about biting between the two of them, but it can be reserved for people who haven't buried their sense of humor.]

How long did it take for them to find a cure?

Yeah, I saw. Business as usual, even after everything...

[He can't decide if it's a good or a bad thing, truth be told. Life returning to normal is great and all, but it's not so easy to go back in the aftermath.]

Billy is quiet for a moment at that response, mulling it over, then quietly sets down the book, closing his eyes.]

Mm... hey, do me a favour and Hulk-out your arm for a minute?

[Rogue shook her head.]

I wouldn't have made it on my own.

[Not anywhere near in time.]

[The sound of the bowl touching the table catches Billy's attention, and the moment he recognizes Zevran his lips curve into a small, nervous smile, shoulders lifting in a shrug.]

Sorry, hadn't meant to look sad. It's just been a rough week, so I guess I'm kind of lost in thought.

[Loki shrugs.] I took no offense.

[Wow Robin he had no idea you were so fascinated with his sex life.]

Not as long as it takes in the movies, that's for sure. The disease started showing up, what, on the 26th? So around five or six days.

Well... still. Sorry. [He holds the steaming mug for a few seconds, just quietly inhaling the scent of fresh caffeine, before continuing.] Teddy told me about what happened. After they got back to base and I'd... turned.

And I'm going to thank everyone who helped, when I can. But you're the first.

[He gives her a steady look, scrutinizing her expression.]
