[Okay, so. Several things need to be dealt with here, one way or another. First being the fact that he has a facetwin hanging around who is pretty damn hard to explain, though Tommy being more or less okay with the "brother" title helps with that. Second is that he knows the truth about his heritage now, which is, in short, a huge weight off his shoulders. Third is that his strength is mostly back in his arm as long as he doesn't bend or twist it in a way that stresses his brace too much, which admittedly doesn't mean much, but it does mean that he's able to finish the sketches he'd promised to Pepper's art gallery.

Thus, since it's so warm and dry today, he'll be heading out to deliver a set of hefty-sized rolled sheets of drawing paper to Pepper's art gallery, and then to swing by Tony's house to catch up on some work and maybe fill his... sort-of employer in on the recent developments. Mainly the kid with Billy's face who is probably going to hate him for a while. Tommy's not as keen to forgive as some people.

His last stop will be the plaza, armed with a miniature sketchbook, and props himself up against the side of the fountain to draw whatever comes his way. Occasionally he might have to stop and give his hand a frustrated shake, but hey, there's no physiotherapy like a good work-out, right?

At some point while he's out, though, he'll be doing what he told himself he'd get done: a journal entry that is better late than never.]

Hey, it's Billy. Just wanted to get it out there that if you see anybody with my face - or hear my voice, I guess - that's Tommy, my... brother. Kind of. It's complicated. He might be a bit tough to deal with sometimes, but he's not a bad guy, so just try to put up with him, if you can. He could use some friends.

[Amnesia. Not remembering anything about her powers or her family - that must have been a shock; she wondered if Wanda would have been happier - no, no. This was a different Wanda, and this hadn't even happened to Billy yet so - focus.]

[Abed's brow subtly folds, but then it clicks and he holds up a finger.]

Ah. Classic comical misunderstanding. I should have seen that coming. The question is, do I play along with it to get a few more laughs, or give the upcoming explanation now?

[Yes, he says this aloud. And decides to go with the former option. He affects his voice somewhat, so he sounds more like a surly New Yorker of questionable morale.]

I didn't break into your apartment. What do you take me for, some kind of criminal? Sheesh! I don't believe this.

...Right. [That's a fair point, actually. Goody, someone else to judge him based off someone else--not that he's bitter or anything. There isn't exactly much he can change about that.]

Let me guess. He's not exactly one of my fans, is he?

At least we don't have to worry about confusing you two then.

Fun? Let's see... mostly I read comic books or fantasy novels, but lately I've been drawing a lot.

I think it's just his ego demanding superiority.

Yeah. Pretty sure he's not lying, either. He wouldn't make up that kind of thing, even if he can be kind of a jerk sometimes. Getting him to acknowledge that we're family is normally worse than pulling teeth.

["We found Mom." He said it just like that. Like it's the most natural, acceptable thing in the world.

That's why he knows it's true.]

How is he even supposed to take any of this? He's starting to get this feeling of deja vu, but there's also something very, very wrong with it.]

Still trying to figure that one out. He's not really anyone's fan, though, so it's possible that he'll just treat you the way he treats everyone else.

[He'd already gotten the impression that Tommy was pretty impassive about the Avengers in general, so maybe this warning isn't even necessary. Better safe than sorry, though.]

He's kind of rough around the edges, one of those guys who puts up a big tough front. And he acts like he doesn't care about anything most of the time, but he's also out to have a good time, so if you're the kind of person who'd rather ignore all things serious, you'll probably get along.

[Billy pauses, his pencil going still against the page.]

...So I can't ask you to pose for five minutes while I get a basic figure?

Well, that's one way of putting it, yeah.

[ She blows out a breath. ]

... yeah, I bet. Everything okay with you? [ She gets to her feet, glancing back at him. If he doesn't supply, she'll ask about Teddy in half a breath, too. ]

Oh... yeah. I can't lie, I'm kind of envious... [He smiles faintly, though it doesn't quite reach his eyes.] I really wanted to meet her. There's so many questions I'd ask, so much I'd like to say. Knowing I'll get the chance is great, of course, but now I'm really curious instead of worried.

Yeah.

[She says it softly, not really sure where she should go with this.

"At least you know" seems tacky.]

I can't blame ya for that.

Actually, yeah- things are looking up lately. Teddy's here- you remember, right? [He pauses, and then adds-] And my brother showed up this week, so... more familiar faces, I guess.

[He's not altogether happy about this, but he's not unhappy, either. It's a weird mindset.]
