But it's his, Teddy had it made for him, and with that self-deprecating thought comes the enthusiastic desire to wear it and show it off to everyone, so the whole village can see that he's taken, he's Teddy's.
Smiling shyly, he holds his hand out so Teddy can go ahead with it. And, jokingly:]
