[That’s all the prompting he needs; with a muffled cry, Billy releases the spell, the light in his eyes fading back to normal - at least, what qualifies as normal for the past two weeks. Everyone in the room vanishes except for he and Teddy, and after what he just did, he really wants to vanish, himself. He screwed up. He screwed up big time. He presses a hand under his nose, covering his mouth and checking for blood. There’s none there this time, but he’d wanted to be sure.
